Delight Your Friends with Dwarf Costumes
When you receive an invite to a masquerade ball or costume party, it can be difficult to decide what to wear. There are so many characters and personas to choose from, a person can feel paralyzed with options. That is why it is best to dress up as a dwarf. These lovable creatures will be the life of the party and the perfect dwarf costumes will have everyone talking. You can base your costume on one of the seven dwarves from the Snow White story or you can dress up as another dwarf that you admire. Be certain to act with dignity and respect so as not to give the vertically challenged a bad name.
Dwarf costumes will usually consist of oversized clothing. This will give you the opportunity to appear much smaller than you actually are in real life. Some costumes will have you get on your knees in order to wear them. Your knees will be placed in the shoes and this will give you the appearance of being well below average height. This oversized look is easily accomplished with a large robe that hides the features of your body. An oversized and floppy hat is a great addition to your costume. You can also wear some oversized gloves and may want to put on some makeup so you have a rosy or clownish appearance.
If you choose to dress as one of the seven from Snow White there are many accessories you can include to help people determine which dwarf that you are playing. Doc can wear a stethoscope and carry a black bag. If you would like to be Grumpy then you can wear a scowl on your face and act angry and mean with everyone that you encounter at the party. This can be a great way to let people know what you really think of them and be able to get away with it. If you choose to be Dopey you can act like a blathering idiot. Dwarf costumes may not be politically correct but they are certainly funny. If you happen to run into an actual dwarf you may want to have an apology prepared in advance.
